Story as Telling

Writing a story is the act of sharing it. What about the development of the story?

There are three ways that I generally have students develop their story:
1. Start with the images and imagery – place them in order – tell the story visually first
2. Start orally telling the story – record the story in segments – rearrange the order if needed
3. Start with a written or linear story – Start from the beginning and progress through
